With the new press Lee introduced last month, I got an idea from Eagle Eye Shooting via YouTube.

I found a random spring in the garage, put a screw into the case feeder slide, and did a few simple guestimations(cutting spring, shaping spring ears, drilling hole in turret casting, and placing a wood screw in the hole I drilled since I couldn't find a ROLL PIN.............)

I can't feel the case feeder drag, and if I short stroke the ram, there's only a small bit of tension on the loading am.

No more worrying about breaking stuff, and more focus on consistent pressures...

Very happy.!218913218914

The only thing I want to ensure is that I can remove the spring from the turret. So I figured the most logical way was to make a hook style peg to put the spring on... This way caliber changes are still simple.

Oh. I just realized....

The case feeder slide needs to be detachable......

Back to the drawing board. Kinda

Is it not allowing you to change turrets? Would like to see this in action. Gives me an idea for my pro 1000

It does.

You can hook the spring too the turret however you wish, i just want mine quickly removable.

Since I'm lazy :)

This is the spring I used, or one that you can try and find.

I have a shoebox of springs over the last 50 years that I stole mine from.

The hook system can be as simple or as complicated as one wishes to make it.

I'll be playing around with mine

I just realized, the picture of the Shell holder is blocked off.

You have to cut one side of the Shell holder so that the case can move to the next station
