After coordinated working with @schemelschelm we have a new design based on old Accurate and Hensel molds, see thread link below for history.

UPDATED - I've added a Gas Check option to this GB

- Casting at .459 or .460 (You choose)
- Flat base or Gas Check (You choose)
- Steel sprue plate
- Hardened steel alignment pins
- Allen keys are included
- RCBS/Lyman top punch is included
- Use MP mold handles or LEE 6 cavity handles (NOT included but you can add for an +$20)
- Sample of sprue lube is included (15ml)
- HP offering (Pins are Penta, Large, small and blanks)

Lube groove casts 316gr with WW
Hollow Point casts 297gr with WW

Sequence of events: Participants order molds and are placed on the list, the Group Buy will close (which will be posted on the thread) at some time determined by MiHec, the molds are made from the orders on the list at the time it is closed or by altering what you want via PM to MiHec after it's closed. Extra molds should be available... order them by PM to MiHec. Invoices will be sent out via e-mail from the listed addresses and you pay by using Paypal...... Invoice will be in Euros which Paypal converts from Euros to dollars. After you pay, the mold gets shipped.

I spoke to Miha- he confirmed that he will get 4 cavities into the mold, the costs are now correct, and there WILL be Penta pins along with the other pins.

Aren't those are the two cav prices? IIRC, I don't think he likes putting 4 of the big HP's in one mold block.

Youre not accounting for a cup point. Some may want that. If the cup point is listed...the small pin becomes the penta if desired.

So Im thinking that your info is wrong unless you plan on excluding the cup point.

Hi SF,

Yes this will absolutely work for 45-70. Depending on your rifle, you will have to determine the best OAL, but its definitely a great light load.

But with these being cut on a CNC, it would require a tool change in the middle of the operation, Miha wouldn't sign up to that unless there were at least 25 people that could agree on the same mixing of cavities.... :) It would be like herding cats....

Hi,

The NLG process wipes out any grooves in the cavities, so no, if you want NLG, then the mold will only be available in FB. Sorry.

Hi everyone,

I talked with Miha yesterday, he is very sorry for all the delay in mold production. There are 2 issues he is dealing with, his supplier of the HP pins and a general shortage (and high cost) of raw materials. It's no different in the USA, if you have tried to buy any steel lately, you are in for a real shock... 2-3 times the cost from "pre-covid" pricing.

The GOOD news is, he has a new lathe coming, is supposed to start it's voyage by sea on the 28th and once it arrives and gets setup, Miha will start making his own pins!! Soon this pin-issue will be behind us. Stay patient and keep posted.

Update for everyone from Miha:

The CNC lathe to make all the pins is now on the ocean, expecting arrival at his shop of 28JAN22. This means that sometime in Feb he'll begin making all the pins. So stay tuned HP molds will start flowing again!
