Hi Everyone,

It looks like I have no choice but to switch to Norma 45 basic brass because I no longer have access to Jamison. I am hoping some of you guys can answer a few questions I have about the Norma 45 brass. First question is there more then one 45 Basic brass offered by Norma I have seen two diffrent lengths listed for this brass 2.6" and 2.88" which is it? And my second question is I have heard that the Norma brass is a little too thick in the neck and that some people have has success trimming to length and then using a neck stretcher and re trimming to thin the neck does anyone know if this will work or if it is even needed? Basically I am reloading for 45-110 and wondering what issues I will have with the Norma brass. Any information you have about the brass would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Jason Croyle

I have been using the starline brass for a few years now 38-55, 40-65 45-70 (2.1) 45-90 (2.4) its very good brass. They do recommend you anneal it first for Black Powder loads.
