We lost my Mother in December. She was 90 years old and had told me several time over the last months of her life she wanted to join my Dad in Heaven. It was a more or less expected thing because she had been sick for a while.

Last night we lost my son in a traffic accident. He was 38 years old. I was behind him when he went off the road and down in the deep ravine when they took him out of the car. The grief comes in waves. We need your prayers.

Thanks
Dennis Sego

Lord if it be thy will will you send Peace like a river to each of Dennis's family?
You see better than I Lord, send them what they need to weather this trial.
They have suffered enough.

You have blessed me again and again. I do not want for anything Lord.
My cup runneth over. Avenger442's family is hurting and grieving. Send some of mine their way if it please you Lord.

Thank you for all you have given and done Lord.
Praise the Lord.

Father please be with Dennis, his family, and their friends as they navigate the murky waters of grief. I know that You called Dennis's mother and son home to be with You but the pain that they are suffering is devastating. Please console them and help Dennis, his family, and their friends to reflect on the many positive moments they shared. AMEN

Losing a son is the most horrible thing that a parent can experience. I lost what was like a "2nd son" when a dear friend's son was killed just a few hundred yards from our front doorsteps. We heard the crash. His Mom and Dad still are saddened when they think of the loss for their son. He was a genuinely good young man, regular church attender, and lived his life "mild," and not "wild" like so many of his age. He was in college, and on his way home from studying at the library.

Just remember, you'll see him again one day, if you keep the faith and stay straight with the Lord. And then, there'll be no further loss of anything or anyone. This keeps my friends solid when they think of their son's loss here. Keep the faith. It's the only thing that can see you through this. And take heart, for you WILL see him again!

Thanks to all of you.

Prayer is the most powerful thing that can be done for someone that has had the loss that we have experienced. There is no more powerful weapon in our arsenal. Nothing we can say or give is more powerful than interceding for someone before a loving God.

The funeral is Friday. We go to a church and live in a community that have been so supportive. They have exceedingly supplied all that we physically need. And your prayers are being felt.
