News report is that Barbara Bush is in failing health, I am sure the family needs some prayers.

Done. Greater courage than refusing treatment is unimaginable. She's a stout ol' warhorse, always steady when challenged, and an anchor for her family. I've never been quite enamored of #41 or #43's policies, but even an outright enemy would have to admit that their courage and convictions were unflinching, and that must ALWAYS be valued. #41 was shot out of the sky in WWII, but her kind of courage is the kind that never gets noted much, but is always so very critical to any of us when challenged.

She's alwyas reminded me a bit of my Mom - steady in a crisis, and brave beyond words when necessary. God bless her, and if it's her time, make her passing as comfortable and easy as possible. This would be befitting for a lady of her character, I believe.

Mrs. Bush has gone home , she is with her Lord now .
By reports she was surrounded by family and friends . She was accepting and looking forward to this next step , she was encouraging and supportive of those being left and tried to comfort them .
