Last night the President of the United States of America asked for the nation to pray.

"Say a prayer for our noble warriors and our allies [French, British, and other allies] as they carry out their missions. We pray that God will bring comfort to those suffering in Syria. We pray that God will guide the whole region toward a future of dignity and of peace. And we pray that God will continue to watch over and bless the United States of America.”

Father please be with our military and our allies as they perform their sworn duty to protect. Please be with each as they do their part to protect those who can not protect themselves. Father, You are the great protector and I am turning to You to protect them and their families. AMEN

Amen! Normally, most folks treat soldiers like 2nd class citizens ..... until they're needed! THEN, they become saviors and get their just dues. May God be with them always, and protect them, and when their time comes, receive them into the ranks of the Holy, for "greater love hath no man than that he lay down his life for another."

Soldiers have never done what they do for laurels and praise, but for what's inside THEM, which is simply a desire and determination to serve, and do their best on behalf of all of us who can't or don't serve any more. God bless them always. Amen.
