I'm somewhat interested in the BFR 45-70 revolver. I've run across one for several hundred bucks less than the websight advertises. Any of you guys have one or a caliber variation of it? Just looking for some opinions.

Regards

I have one in 454 Casull. It is a ball to shoot. The quality is good for the price, I haven't had any problems with it. You will probably need to lightly loctite the frame screws in place. Mine kept loosening up.

I feel they are good deals considering the cost.

I have the BFR 45-70 and the .475. The 45-70 sits in the safe. It is so easy to kill a deer with that I take the .475 instead. Well, I took a deer with the .475 at near 100 yd's. Now I don't know which to use. Honestly, I have never enjoyed shooting 2 guns more. These are 2 that I will never part with. Both are so accurate that they are scary.
