What the heck are these? The large case looks like 20 mm case. The top of the projectile on the far left screws off

The cases in the links look like .308 with the case having an extension that goes into the throat/bore

The links I believe to be 7.62 or .30 cal machine gun training blanks. I have some of them as well.

I seem to remember using them in our M-249(?) coax guns. Can't remember the nomenclature for sure, it's been 30 something years.

Thanks Finster...that is what I thought too but a Vet told me different. Cannot trust an MP...lol

25.4 mm to the inch. Looks as if the tape measures about 1 3/4 inch diameter on the left one. What say ye?

I will not be able to get more accurate dimensions until early next week

The 2 big guys on the left I'd have to WAG as 40mm projectiles.

Agree about the blanks, could be specialized for miles gear.

The linked ones look just like a belt of blanks we fired in M-60s.....the "extension" from the mouth is to allow proper feeding without a bullet.Should be a card wad in the end to hold the powder in

FYI the linked blanks can be 'unlinked' and shot in weapons of the same caliber. Or just keep them as is, as a novelty item. I have lots of links and empty brass. The empties can be trimmed and reloaded if you need the brass.

The blanks in 308 make great 45 ACP shotshells.

Be careful with the blanks, the primers still work
and the powder is special flash powder meant to work with no head pressure.

Other than trimming, what dangerous contact with the primer is involved? I have several hundred rnds that the powder has been removed. I've trimed, formed to 45 ACP, and loaded, without incident. I do use a Forster trimmer (collet) rather than my Lyman universal.
Am I missing something?

Agree, the empty case looks like 20mm Vulcan... The part that unscrews on the left projectile is the fuse.. Can you show a pic of the inside of the fuse?? Anything in the projectile???

no, not missing anything :)
Just be careful of the flash powder
