I am looking for a flat nosed boolit that will work in 9mm Luger (AKA 9X19) and 357 SIG. Do any of you shoot the Lee 120 gr 9mm TC version(NOT THE TUMBLE LUBE VERSION)? I would need flat nose to work in my Star sizer. 135 gr would be prefered, but of course Lee does not have one in the shape needed. The old H&G chart on the Balisti-cast website shows some that might be good, but they are very expensive.

I use the T/C mold. I like it. I use WW, water cooled. Size to .357. Shoots well, without jams.
I set the OAL to the chamber.

I have been using the Lee TC/TL boolits in both my 45's and the 9mm...I almost hate to admit it...but I like them both alot. Put a large amount of them in a round bottomed bowl coat with lee liquid earwax, swirl around while holding the wifes hairdryer on them until they get 99% dry, add a touch of motor mica...tada

I do have to push thru size the 9mm's but the 45's are shot as cast.

The lyman 358345 does well in my P-35. weighs about 116.

That boolit does well in my astra 9mm, but I have been fighting an uphill battel with it in the 38spcl revolver.

I shot a box of the Lee TC non-TL 120's today. Worked just fine in my Kel-Tec. I have previously shot them in my Cougar, and they work fine in it too. I use about 4 grains of 231, maybe a pinch more depending on intended use. YMMV. They are sized to .356 and lubed with 50/50 in a Lyman 4500.

I use that Lee bullet in my Hi Power and my .380 KelTec. Great bullet! 9MM data is 3.5gr. Bullseye, and .380 is 2gr. Bullseye.

Lee 358-140-SWC

I used this one in 38 Super to "Make Major" but also tried it in 9MM and it worked well. Sized to fit your Barrel and working up from below (As it is a Long boolit for 9MM) you should get near where you want to be.

I will Not give out my IPSC load, but try Unique and I'm sure you will get what you need.

Good Shooting,

I use the lyman 356402 121gr which is about the same as the LEE. Does very well in 9mm with 5gr unique. I picked it up on ebay pretty cheap.

To work in the 357 SIG also, it needs to have a somewhat short stubby nose, like the 356632.
