Testing to see if the search function is broken everywhere, or just one forum...

So... hopefully someone else will read this and try the test too. If I search for numbers like ".357" or "357" or "30-30" using the forum search, it returns nothing... If I search for a word, like "photo" it returns all those just fine. Click on the 'search forum' link, and try it! See if it happens to you too.

When I want to search the forum, I go to a search engine like Google & use the following to search. I type in the box the following:
{search key words of what you are looking for without the {} brackets} then add, site:http://castboolits.gunloads.com
Using your keywords/calibers it would look like this:
.357 site:http://castboolits.gunloads.com
or,
30-30 site:http://castboolits.gunloads.com
et cetera.
I have been frustrated too many times using the forum search , so I use what I just described.
It will give you "forum/website specific" links to this website & not others, to find what you are searching for.
Try it out. Ya might like it. Works for other sites too.

I too have been frustrated :)
Put the number or keywords you're looking for between"" Google will only show you results with exactly what you have between"" somewhere in the result

Did you try using the "Google Custom Search" box? I typed in 357 and it turned up many pages of results. You will get the best results when asking for something more specific, as in "357 Mold" etc.
