Picked up a new Topper 58 with some bonuses!

Picked up an sb1 30-30 20g combo today that needed gone over. The stock was loose and the forearm had the sling screw pulled loose. After 20mins we were shooting. I also snagged a 22 hornet barrel that clips into another receiver I have. Bonus. I'll get some pics soon. Anyone loading for the 22 hornet?

Best part is the shop has a 45-70 that needs a bit of work too. I'm on the call list for it too. ;)

The older pencil barrel hornets and 30-30s are the ones to have. I've been looking for a hornet to go with my 158 30-30 around here for several years. You did good. I've played with a couple hornets in the last few years and little gun has been hard to beat in all of them. Enjoy that little rifle, they are more fun than they should be!

I'm becoming a single shot-a-holic. I'm working up loads for the 22 now and hope to have a good shooter. I'm working on getting barrel lugs made as I can't resist making a few barrels, but can't bring myself to cut up an old one. I've been messing with h110 in the hornet, but I think lil gun is in the next round of testing. My barrel is the old ,,1-16 twist so any recommendations are welcome.
