Hi Team

Im looking for a .358 mold to run in my partners 9x19 CZ shaddow. Ideally around the 125 grain weight, for use in IPSC competition.
I started with the lee .356-125-2R mold, which was dropping them at .357 dia. long story short, the barrel slugs at .357 so as you can imagine I have a very unhappy Mrs. KiwiBushMan on my hands.

What are all you guys who run .358 in 9mm using? what will feed well in a semi auto?
Bright side, is i have a colt python just waiting for me to get around to buying a .358 mold, so happy days.

Thanks for the collective knowledge!

Are you pc-ing or lubing? Pc will get you that extra bit of thickness. Otherwise, try the Lee 125 rf intended for 38/357. This bullet is pretty popular for 9mm and if you try the 2 cav mold first the investment in minor if you don't like it. Could also post a request for a few to try in the"bullet exchange" forum to try before you buy.

All my NOE molds that are marked 358-something are dropping right at .358. I am currently using the NOE 358-135-fn for most of my 9mm usage.

You could always "beagle" your current mold to get a bit of extra diameter.

Your Lee 356-125-2R is a good shooter, but only if it's big enough. "Beagling" is a good easy fix. Otherwise, I'd say it's hard to go wrong with any of the offerings from NOE or Accurate or Arsenal in the weight range you are looking for.

Accurate

Pick from catalog or get custom mold for same price
Regardless, get the best

I use to use a Lee 358-125 RF, worked great in most of my 9mm guns, til I got a Browning Hi-Power (the nose was too fat for that gun).
So I got the NOE 358-128-SWC
Then I found a Lee 356-120 TC that dropped just under .360 that I like even more.
I size 'em all to .357 for 9mm
Good Luck.

Lots of good suggestions but they involve cost and shipping outside the US. Here is a thread that might be a good alternative as it just enlarges the mold you already have.
