Just wondering if anyone uses Autocomp for 9mm Cast boolets? If so what kind of results are you getting? I have an opportunity to pick some up cheep. Doesn’t matter how cheap it is if it’s giving up horrible results . So I figured out a get a consensus from my fellow members . I currently use or have used unique, titegroup, cafe, and win231. All with good results. But absolutely no experience with autocomp so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not a 9, but autocomp is one of my favorite 380 powders. Gives better velocity vs pressure than some of the faster powders. Also works well in my 45acp carbine.

I use AutoComp in the .32 ACP, .32 S&W Long, .32-20 Win., .380 ACP, .38 Special, .30 Carbine, and 7.62x25.

Burning rate is similar to Unique but measures MUCH more uniformly and burns cleaner.

For 9mm, I'm shooting 115gn cast from Blue Bullets. I use 4.2gn for my Springfield XDm, but that's just what works for me. I stocked up on a few of the 1lb bottles, but wouldn't hesitate to buy an 8lb'er if I found one.

Thanks guys for the info. I’ve seen plenty of data for jacketed bullets using auto comp but not much for cast. As quit reloading jacketed bullet for my 9x19 and my 9x18 a long time ago and I only load my cast boolets I figured I’d get a consensus from my fellow members before I went out and invested looks like I got a winner so I’ll give it a whirl!
thanks again everybody.

I bought a bunch of it for my open gun. I didn't like that much. So I decided to use it up in my USPSA 9mm for practice. Turns out it works great.

My load is 4.7 under a 125.
