Cashed in the cans @ SWAMBOs insistence. There on the scale is a fair sized roll of sheet lead. 188lb for $150.00. Hehehehe.

Had the roll on my flat bed parked behind the dentists for 30 min. Came out and found the roll 1/4 off the bed. When I came out. I guess it was too heavy.

Really glad that the they was not successful. That would be a real bummer. There have been a few post on here over the years by members that have had their stashes stolen.

Tweakers......who needs em? Was at a pit agate hunting a few years back and the owner showed up. Told me someone had stripped the copper wiring out of his heavy equipment. $15K worth of damages for $100 bucks worth of scrap.

Gravel pit near me had problems too, now it is all fenced off and they have a guard shack with 24/7 security patrolling. Closed off some of the best sunfish and crappie fishing around here! Not to many years back someone started up one of the big front end loaders and put it in gear and jumped as it drove off the cliff int 60+ feet of water...

Too bad whoever it was wasn't just a little more persistent: with any kind of luck the roll would have flattened him as it all came off the bed.

Then the SOB would've sued and won! Depends on exactly where the roll of lead landed on him, as they say dead men tell no tales. 150# thief with 180# roll of lead on chest or neck pinning him to the ground might not file any suit at all. You just have to hope you don't have to pick that heavy roll up more than once to drop it on him.
