Pardon me if I'm posting old news here. In my inbox today from one of my regular gun spammers is a CVA single shot rifle factory chambered in 35 Whelen. To the best of my knowledge I can't recall seeing a factory chambering in 35 Whelen in several years. Knew it would get some excitement from the die hard casters. Ten years ago I would have been reaching for my credit card in a flash. Again my apologies if I'm posting old news.

If you reload, you can laugh at the scarce factory fodder! There's plenty of components and cases are easily made from 30-06 or 270 cases. If you cast for it, there's a plethora of newer styled molds available from NOE and others. The NOE 360-230 RD and the NOE 360-310 FN (35 Thumper) are awesome molds. The 35 Whelen is easy to load for with about any mid burn rate powders. There's no better time in history to own one!

probably one of the easiest cartridges to reload for,,,either cast or J's
nothing special, or easier, about converting 30-06 brass into .35 Whelen...just run the case through the die!
