Hi,
I only have one Win 94, so I don't know if my trigger is behaving correct or not, but I don't think it is...
The trigger on my rifle moves back and forth freely. In other words, it flops backwards and forwards when no pressure is on it. When I put pressure on the trigger, the rifle fires without any problems.
My guess is that a spring or some other part that is supposed to hold the trigger to the rear is broken, causing the trigger to flop around. I have not taken the trigger group out as I don't know if this is a normal condition or not.
Assuming that a part is broken, what is the most likely culprit? The rifle is a Win 94 BB in .375 Win, top eject.
Here is a schematic for the Win 94 BB, top eject (http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=0950z94%20POST%206 4%20TOP%20EJECT%20BIG%20BORE)
Thanks,
John
