Miha is giving the green light on this mold for a rerun.

MiHec 8mm Sil brass
This is a sign-up thread for an old GB & BRP mold design........ specifically a heavier cast boolit for the 8mm caliber rifles. This boolit is a gas check design. It casts out slightly above 0.326" and sizes easily to 0.324". Ready to load weight is about 200 gr. dependent on your alloy. It has fit in everything we've tried it in. To date the best load has gotten sub 1 MOA at 100 yds....... due to lack of a good scoped rifle.

The costs will be as follows-

- 2 Cavity HP all pins included 95 Euro's (80,75 with discount)
- 4 Cavity HP all pins included 135 Euro's (114,75 with discount)
- 6 Cavity solid Brass (80,75 with discount)
- 8 Cavity Aluminum (80,75 with discount)

I have no personal experience with either of them but maybe someone else will chime in to help out.
I do know it may be a little sketchy in the win 94 tube just for reasons with the bullet being pushed back in the case.
You would have to do a decent crimp to get it to hold.

It’s all about people signing up.
Miha needs a certain amount of hollow point pins to have his sublet make them for him.
Typically he needs around 100 hp pins of one mold type so he can get them made.

Yes sir that’s the way it was in the past when I got my group buys. But if you look in group buy discussions the top sticky. It says Miha started using DHL to mail molds and because of that he no longer sends an invoice out.

How would this mold work with old 8mm milsurp rifles? I powder coat and would like to remove the lube grove. How hard is that? I have access to a vertical mill. With gas checks getting scarce, how hard is it to make your own and have them stay on? I would be interested in the 8 cavity option.

Sorry I missed this you can get ahold of Dave Matteson too he makes a nice gas check maker.
I have a couple and they work well.
I also reattached the pics not sure what happened there but it’s fixed now.

I would be in for a 2 cavity HP brass mold with Gas Check. No Handles drccac at zoomon dott net. I really like the way the Lee bore ride design 8mm shoots and this design seems similar. And heavy. And hollow point. Hopefully will be able to become my "main" 8mm mold.

Imagine same issues with getting materials right now over there as here. Doubt it will be a fast turn around but we are nearly a full list :-)
