Here is my first report on my use of the Rex 2 powder :-D
loaded fifty rounds of ammo using 4.8 grains of Rex 2 and a Lyman 460452 cast bullet (200 grain semi wad cutter ) this load gave same point of impact as the 200 grain federal personal protection round . shot at 15 and 25 yard mark held all shots on 8.5 by 11 target shooting off hand shooting from a rest stacked them all in mid target .
as to economy my unique load is 6.2 grains for the same results versus 4.8 of Rex 2
Rex 2 is 24.95 dollars for 2.3 pounds ( I don't count shipping and haz mat fee because I order enough that it is covered ) works out to 10.85 a pound vs 25 dollars a pound locally for unique truly prehistoric prices . ( sorry couldn't resist ) .:castmine:
