Midway USA has no haz mat fee on primers right now. I like Powder Valley when they offer no haz mat. Otherwise, I will buy locally at Sportsman Warehouse and Cabela’s. Other vendors I will shop with free haz mat.

bullets.com is shutting down and has them on clearance with discounted hazmat fees.

I usually place a large order for powder and primers with Powder Valley every couple of years. I'll get a group of buddies together and we will order the maximum amount that will ship in one box. Unless you can catch a sale they beat most places on price.

You can forget that kind of pricing. But if you are patient you can find them for about $25/1000 delivered if you buy in bulk. I think my last order was for Winchester SP and LR over a year ago and they were $22/1000 at Cabela's and I bought 40-50k or so. Not sure if the Tula primers are still available but I got them from PV for $16/1000 about 4 years ago and they are a good primer.

I'm happy with my orders from both of these two sites. https://www.natchezss.com/ just had free hazmat last week on orders over $150 so I ordered 10K of primers with couple powders etc. Got my order in two days I think. Very happy with both places.

Powder Valley - price makes up for HAZMAT and shipping, powder, primers, bullets, brass SOMETIMES sales at Midsouth, Natchez, Graf's, Cabela's ... are better

Just happened to spot some of the older CCI primers at the range 15 dollars a thousand bought all they had . work great am not sure if they go bad but these work fine. The range has a better price than mail order . and says he is still making a good profit. 5 to 6 dollars cheaper than cabelas. The main problem which local cabelas is when they put primers on sale they are always sold out of small pistol from day one.

Cabelas often has
Sellier & Bellot Primers for around $20 a brick

One of the best firearm related search engines on the internet. Has current lowest prices available from many suppliers.

I ask my local gunshop to order what I need. I pay cash, ask for and get a nice cash discount. There is no paper trail, either, for the frightful among us.

My first choice is my local gun store. My second choice is Academy Sports and Outdoors. Their prices on primers are very good.

Red bear in my experience primers do not go bad. I have used Western brand dating from the 1920s and I am still using Remington 9 and 1/2 m primers from the 1960s in cardboard boxes that are water stained. They all went Bang.
