"That guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn..." (< accuracy)
"He got a "Maggies drawers" on that shot!" ( <accuracy ,a "Miss" on the target... used on military ranges ( USMC anyway))
He is "long on powder, short on bullets."..( < loudmouth with more talk than fight)
"Keep your powder dry.". ( <a "fare thee well"/ goodbye saying. common sense)
He is "faster than greased lightning./faster than a rattlesnake." (< speed on the draw)
"That rifle/pistol "kicks like a mule"! (< recoil)
"This is my rifle, this is my gun( male anatomy), this is for fighting(rifle) , this is for fun!(gun/male anatomy)"
( <Military for using proper term for equip. (USMC anyway)
"He took off "loaded for bear." (< ready for a fight)
Hope those apply here for this topic... I will leave some for others.
I see others have posted while I was typing. But I will leave these anyway...
