Big lube, as in lots of it. Big bunches of it.
The ways I know to achieve that is either with a filled hollow base and barely enough of an impermeable disk over powder as to keep the the lube and powder from mixing or load it like a rifle cartridge with a lube cookie or just to have really copious lube grooves.

So, I've done this for a bore riding lube filled hollow base which lets the powder charge be maximized.

I'd kinda like to try something like this paper patched but don't care to pony up the price of a mold.

I'm gonna try this one with black powder, big grooves to hold lots of lube.

The #445599 design blocks might make a dandy heavy bore rider with the lube grooves removed and a .455 or so tail ring.
Maybe the best way to go about it might be to have a soft card wad in the mouth of a full case of powder and to load the bore rider followed by the case.

Oh, and by the way in case you're scratching your head, mine is a single shot rather than a lever gun.

That's what I thought he was talking about.

I use this bullet in the .45 Colt with BP and with SPG lube there is ample lubrication to prevent foul-out in the Marlin Cowboy lever actions. Also very accurate and a good field bullet when cast 1:40 tin-lead
