I have done a lot of research and so far come up with 405 win which I am lucky to have a bunch of... but I also have 45 basic, 40-82, and a few others... I know a lot of guys use 38-55 and seat the boolit out a ways as well... I am looking for sage advice from the jedi masters here on our forum before I convert any valuable brass to what I need. Thanks!

I have also seen 375 nitro rimmed converted... forgot to add that one. I do not have any of that at the moment and it is a bit spendy as well.

If you have a surplus of 9.3x74r I'll be happy to buy the extras from you.

I only have a box of each. I save oddball stuff from large deals in case I need it down the road for a moment like this. If I come across any more I will deff shoot you a PM and see if you are still looking.

Thanks. Good luck!
The 9.3X74R rim is thinner than original Winchester brass.
I helped a guy make .40-70 Sharps Straight brass for a Remington Hepburn with it.
His paper patch chamber was too small in the neck for a groove dia bullet so I had to bore his chamber neck out with a long skinny boring bar.

9.3x72 is way smaller than the two others!

yeah the rim is a lot smaller... saw that. Wondering if it will have extraction issues or centering on the bolt face? its more than a few thou but who knows?

A dozen would do, but only if you're sure you won't need it.

That's a sweet deal but I've heard some complaints. Norma and RWS seem to have the best reputation for 9.3x74 brass. Has anyone tried the Nosler stuff?
