baked a pan of wild caught Pollock for supper tonight. Salt, black pepper and a salad. It was great. Can't understand why Pollock is so cheap and the other white flesh fish are so expensive

I dislike the texture of pollock... mushy...

This time of year the lutefisk feeds start... can smell that stuff cooking from a 1/2 mile away... blech!

I patted the fillets very dry before baking, very flaky but not up to walleye. You Norskies can keep the lye dipped fish up there, laughing

better then I did. Our Friday lent meal yesterday was frozen fish sticks and frozen French fries. I guess it was my penance for the sins of the week.
