Whats everyones favorite loads for .44 Magnum using RD's 432-265 bullet?.
I looked through the old posts and found a bunch use H110 for full power loads, how about some moderate load data.

8 to 10 grains Unique is a good middle of the road load. I have had best results with 8 grains, sized .431" atop a WLP primer. Good out to about 50 yards in my BH. No chrono results, but 8 grains from my 10 1/2" barrel should be right at 950-1000 fps.

Try some L'il Gun in the cases. I got much better accuracy and reliability, even with max loads, than Win 296 which is just about the same as H-110.

I used 7.5 UNIQUE in 44 magnum brass, sized to .432 and dip lubed in Lars' Liquid XLOX. 14 Brinnel hardness alloy. Point of aim in my 5.5 inch 44 BISLEY VAQUERO at 25 yards and 20+ rounds actually cleaned the barrel from leading from previous shooting! Grouped 1.5 to 2 inches...90 degrees and high humidity!

First time I'd used dip lubed XLOX...always used conventional lube in my STAR. I will try with TITEGROUP for a similar or slightly hotter load....I like to go for 900-to-1000 feet per second(estimated or published) in revolvers with 5 or 5.5 inch barrels.

In re: RD432-265 loads, what about rifle loads from a Win Trapper or Marlin? Looking for hunting loads out to 100 yards. (or maybe a little more) <.44 mag, of course>
