Can anyone give me a good load , using Unique or similar powder, for flat base, cast bullets in 300, 350 and 405 grain bullet weight? I am wanting accurate loads, that don't kick like a mule. I just traded for a Remington rolling block, made by Remington in early 1990's I believe. It has a 30 inch, tapered round barrel, pistol grip stock, buckhorn sights, a silver blade front, and a Seoule rear micro adjustable long range peep sight, in as new condition! I have loaded a lot for the 45/70 with both jacketed and cast bullets, and shot some 350gr slugs with unique loads from here before, but lost the data. Any other good load data with conventional powder will be appreciated also!

I’ve had good success with Varget with my 350-425gr boolits in my 1886/1895 rifles

As far as not kicking like a mule, look at some 2400 loads with a 186 CB boolit.
