Just picked up a nice Marlin 336A in 35 rem. H prefix so a 1951 ballard rifled model. Is anyone using the Lee 35 rem. mould?
It looks to be similar to the RCBS design but less expensive. Also will be getting a 55 Winchester takedown in 25-35 and need a mould recommendation for it. Will post pics. when I have them both.

I have a SC and a RC in 35 Rem both H 1951. I think you will really like your new A model. I like the Ranch Dog 195 gr. The design can be found with std. style lube groves as well. Lots of printed info and testing on the web from ranch dog from a few years ago.

I have a 336 in 35 rem with a 1964 mfg date and use the lee mold . its fine if I run them tumble lubed and gas checked . it don't like them powder coated though , I had to back the oal down to get them to chamber .

Anyone know if the older ballard rifled guns will handle a longer OAL ctg. than the micro groove version?
