Looking to buy plates to clamp a 1911 frame (in a vise) along with a mag well insert. Not looking for plastic nor suggestions on how to secure the frame without the plates. I know they're out there but am having no luck finding same. Thanks...

Can you not just Fabricate something for yourself out of wood.
It really isnt that hard.
And if you are doing only one project, it makes no sense to me to BUY some Fancy jig to do One simple job.
I'm sorry.
But too many times I see people rely on things that they can Buy.
If you need a jig to do your work, then you should have the skills and time to make a Jig for what you want to do.
Now, if you are doing things all the time like a Business, then by all means, Buy the Professional tools.
But your skills working on a gun, should start at the tools you need to get the job done.
I just grew up with the thought, " Why Buy, If you can Build "
