Need help on a brass mold

Hey All
I need some expert advice on how to remove two very tiny spots of lead I have next to the cavity edges on the facing sides of the brass blocks. I assume I can heat the mold up and use a wooden pencil to gently scrape the lead when it gets soft enough, but when I assume I am normally wrong, so I just want some sound advice please.

Some judicious heat and a wad of flannel or burlap may wipe it off. I have been known to use a popcycle stick ( available from most grocery stores) they are a pretty hard wood. I cut the radioused end off of one end and clean it up with a fine file. This works good to softly scrape rub the lead spots off. Work softly so you don't remove the patina that's formed. One the lead spots soften they removes fairly easily. If you have a hot plate for pre heating pre heat on it to close to casting tem or above letting blocks heat slowly and evenly. Then warm the spots with a small torch one of the micros work good here. A little kroil or 2 cycle oil helps to keeplead from readhearing as its removed.
