I bought two brand new, new stock Lyman moulds. One 429421 and one 358429. I was pleasantly surprised that they have went back to the square lube grooves and full bore front driving bands. Cleaned them both up and smoked them. The 358429 broke in after 4 pours....nice. A full .3585 on all 3 driving bands and all 4 holes. The 429 took two sessions to break in, but very similiar results with that mould after break in .4305 on all three bands on all 4 holes.
I used straight ww for the results, no added tin.
PS Only quality problem I noted was the need to adjust the alignment pins by driving them into the mould a little deeper on the 429421. A small thing in my book.
