Having to re-sight my 243. ( had to remove the scope) Eleven rounds in a 1 1/2 inch group at 50 yds. one flyer. Next trip. will move it out to 100 yds. Happy with the results so far.

Which bullet are you using in it?

I have found if the blocks or mount isn't removed or the rings changed, just removing the scope and replacing it dosnt change it a lot. I have match rifles that go from Appeture sights to scope and back with little change.

243 is a great round and performs very accurately I used it to 1000 yds ( jacketed vlds from a fast twist barrel) very effectively. It can be very accurate and border on bench rest accuracy levels.

That's a good looking group any idea where the flier came from? Called, unfouled barrel, over fouled barrel?

If you called it and it was on the call it really isn't a flier. It is out of the group yes but since it went where you called it to be its on target.

When shooting a team match we were always asked our "call" on the shots in slow fire. The coach could make a good correction from a called 8 ring hit but a shot that wasn't called was a toss up. Learning to call the shots ( with in 1 hour and 1 ring or better) makes a bg difference in zeroing a rifle or accuracy testing

I had great results with that 95 gr RCBS too. It just wants to group.
