The die is 0.687" and says it is a.285 die.

Looks kinda like a home made star die

Definitely not Star, RCBS, or Lyman!

Saeco?
Herters?
Who can check dimensions?

That's not a Saeco, those screw in. Well that narrows it down. What else can it not be, lol? Its definitely what ever is left over. Looks similar to Star die.

I believe the top of a Lyman die is .723 ? (that's just off the top of my head) and I think they have a taper too?

The Body of the Star die is .750

Over the years, Herters sizers were different. Some took Lyman dies. Some took Saeco dies. some took a die like the Seaco, but different threads. But Nothing like the die in your photo.

You have quite the orphan there.

The pattern of lube holes make me believe it might have started life as a Lyman sizing die before it was turned down.

Like all orphans, it needs a home.

started life as Lyman? Maybe?
it looks as long or longer than a Lyman, and there is no bevel at the bottom, where it would mate to the sizer's lower bevel.

I just had a thought, since it's in 7mm, I wonder if it's some European thingy? They must make some lubesizers over there?

there is one on the auction site that looks just like yours

auction #201887726042

ad says it fits Redding SAECO Flanged Model Lube Sizer

I'm guessing it might fight this
auction #192155780653

Sadly one picture attachment is now missing... the one of the die! But the dimension at 0.689" is about right.

Perfect match!

It fits a Vintage Herters Waseca Lube Sizer
It looks like the Herters Waseca is a clone of the Cramer Lube/sizer

I will never buy either of those sizer lubers.

Even if it came with a .258" die?

Never!
Not Ever!!
Love Star Sizer/Lubers!!!
I have Lyman 4500 Sizer/Lubers so I can do pointed boolits with heated lubes!!!!

.285 die needs a home with a Herters Waseca Lube Sizer or with a Cramer Lube/sizer!!!!!

Hey Brass!

I sold a Cramer Lubesizer to Rich/WIS, last March. You might send him a message to see if he could use the die.
