Can't find any details on this mold in any of the 4 Lyman 'Cast Bullet' reloading manuals nor a 1982 Lyman catalog nor the current 2017 catalog. Would like to use the bullet in a 6.5X55 Swede carbine. Not looking for load data but rather the suitability of this particular projectile in the short bbl. Suggestions???
Correction: 268645

The 268645 was a design Lyman called a "High Speed" design, and is #3 in the photo below. There were a few other calibers using a similar design. A 55gr 22 cal and a 190gr 30 cal version and probably one more. I have the 3 calibers mentioned. IIRC they came along in the later '90's. I do not know what your 'Suitability' is aimed at?

It is a very 'Boolity' looking boolit, eh? :-) For me personally, I really liked that little slug marked #1, which was a long discontinued Lyman HP that weighed 128 grs. It was the willingest to please cast slug I ever shot through several 6.5x55's. In fact it sparked a group buy done through Lee in a 6 cavity set of blocks.

And you could make a mess of'em in not too much time.
