nope, if I had money, and knew about it, it woulda been mine! that's really all I need, is pure lead, I only have 20 lbs of it! I have plenty of alloys, but it's a mish-mash of buckets, until I get it all tested, especially my biggest batch, which is around .2%CU and I am guessing 2.5-3% of SB&SN

Interesting! It wasn't pure it was coww, sorry for any miscommunication. Still it was a nice batch of clean one lb. ingots for a buck a piece. Missed another one!! Oh well. Thanks all!

Just made a small haul of soft roof flashing. Got one more trip of about the same to pick up. A friend of mine is doing the drywall in a large house that is being completely redone. Even a new tile roof. Out with the old flashing and in with the new! He called me to see if I would pick it up so they did not have to pay to haul it away. What could I say, but I'll be right over! :2_high5:

Just curious, where did you find the offer for this lead?

Several years ago, I bought 1000lbs of old WW from a member here, down in Duncan. He had cast it into about an 8" cast pan "puck(s)" (@ $1.00 / lb). Initially made the trip from Yukon & picked up 500lb. Then another trip the next weekend for another 500lb. He was financing a Saiga and I was happy to help him out.

Not me either. Placed am add on craigslist. One offer was 45 pounds sheet lead.(bought), the other was 5 lead fishing weights, less than a pound. No deal.

that's not far at all, do you do any hunting? I go hog hunting in Skiatook, occasionally I will go to Heyburn, although there I have only seen their tracks, with no pigs in them! Heyburn is closer to you than it is to me I believe.
