Greetings,

I acquired a 2-die set for 460 Weatherby as part of a larger lot of reloading equipment. I would appreciate any help identifying the manufacturer. I have searched the common die manufactures and I cannot find a exact match.

Information that I can provide:
- No die box included
- Sizing die is marked "460 Weatherby" and stamped "65" on the stem.
- Seating die is unmarked, slotted in the side and stamped "460" on the seating stem
- I cant tell of the seating die slot was done at the factory or by the previous owner (a machinist) but it is well done.
- Both have blued Forster style lock rings.

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks,

DdB

Not 100% sure, but they look like Redding?

That's what Im leaning towards as well, however the hex stem and the slotted seater die is what is throwing me off.

Well I'll be darned, the answer is in the linked thread, currently only a couple of threads down! http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?352204-Another-what-is-it-question

The image posted by Pressman (post #3) shows Weatherby brand dies (made by CH) that are a match!

That is what I thought. I have the Redding .460 Weatherby dies and they don't look like that. I like that window bullet seater, never used one like that before.
