311335 in .308

My.308 in a Rem 700 SV showed some promise today. I had cast some straight WW that came out at 210 gr. Cast a different batch of lino and they weighed 199 gr. Over 32 gr IMR 4895 and a Win primer in a Federal case, 5 went into 7/8" at 100 yds. Vel was an avg of 1859fps.

Someday, I am going to be able to do that.
I have been going too light in cast weight.

Very nice, at 134,000 RPM that is right where it should be for accuracy with 4895. Did you use a filler?

No filler used. Bullet seated to base of the case neck and this makes the OAL 2.860". Cannot use the mag well so must load single shot.

the 32gr is real close to 28.5 with a filler.
as far as speed is concerned.
mine likes the filler with the i-4895.
