View Full Version : Marble Tang Sight Value??

Al asked me to sel his Marble tang sight. It has elevation but no windage adjustments. Says "MARBLE" Gladstone Mich on one side, ?? patent dates on the other, and is stamped ""M5" on the bottom. Holes a bit over 1" on centers-no scale here. Looks like new.
Does anyone know what rifle it fits, and ~what it's worth?

I don't have a direct answer to what it fits but...

Marbles has a fit chart for the newer sights with a table that contains 1) base mounting hole center to center measurement, 2) range of height adjustment and 3) base to post angle here: http://www.marblearms.com/standardPeepTang_info.html

From those measurements you may be able to work backward into determining a rifle model.

What it fits? Supposed to fit Marlin Model 93 in 25-36, 32 Special, 30-30, 32-40, 38-55 and Marlin Model 36 rifle and carbine

Stroebel says marlins --- as stated above --- and value from 50-175 depending on condition and application --- And if one prefers an old original to a new ---
