Must read books about the Bible

Since the weather has most of us indoors lately what books do you consider "must read" books about the bible? I am looking for reading material since I got most of my winter reloading completed.

The Legend of the Monk and the Merchant. It is a quick read with a great message.

The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah - Edersheim. A two volume commentary on the Gospels. Probably a free download somewhere. From a century ago. Excellent scholarship.
