I am hoping to get a new NOE360-197-FN-U1 .358 180 grain 4 bullet aluminum mold, a copy of the RCBS .357 180 grain SIL bullet. This is the 1st NOE product I plan on buying. Will the Lee, Lyman, or RCBS mold handles that I have for their 2 bullet molds work without modifying either handles or the molds.
The handles that I have are all for Lee, Lyman and RCBS 2 bullet molds.

Noe has their brand of handles and there's a website Dick Dastardly whose handles will work as well. Be wary of Lee handles as the wooden handles will loosen,I had to epoxy mine back on.

Lee handles fit any mold I have ever owned. 1 thru 6 cavity of any brand that takes removable handles.

They are very inexpensive from several sources on the net.

Epoxy is very inexpensive compaired to the very HIGH cost of those other "name brand" handles!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drill and pin all of my handles through the ferrule (w/ epoxy) regardless of the brand. LEE six cavities do fit NOE molds well.

I have used red hi-temp silicone to bond the wooden handles to the metal on my mold handles. Works well for me. I also use silicone to bond the big wooden handles to the metal handles on my MEC shotgun presses.

I compared the thickness of Lee 6 cavity handles to the channel for handles on a Lyman 2 cavity mold. Looks like Lee would fit just fine, Is there something I am missing here? I like the Lee handles. They are simple and seem to work well with my hands. The old Lyman handles bulge in the wrong places, the new ones are good but pricey. Couldn't I use Lee 6 cavity handles for all my molds?

As others have said (and will say) LEE handles fit just about ANY mold you can find. I have 4 or 5 different brands of molds and the LEE's fit them all. Hear me now and believe me later! Like Arnold says! HA.....ha.

They even fit those silly little one cavity iron molds that have been around forever.

Get some and enjoy casting. I have a set of LEE handles for every mold I own (dozens). At ~$12 a pop, you can afford gobs of them. Changing handles is a PITA especially when the mold it hot.

As Bangerjim said, they fit just about any mold.

But not some (or all?) Lyman 4 cavity molds. The metal tongs of the Lee six cav handles are too thick for those molds. I have modified the lee handles by carefully grinding the tongs thinner, to fit my Lyman 4 cavity molds. Others have done this as well. Some members will tell you the Lee tong metal (sintered metal) is poor quality (actually brittle) and are prone to break if modified, they may be correct? but, I haven't broken the two handle sets that I have modified yet, and they have seen plenty of use.

I only planned on buying one NOE also......that plan fell apart real fast......those sales get you every time !
Lee 6 cavity handles fit with no modification...I have them on all the NOE's that I now have.

I have outfitted most of my Lyman 2 cavity moulds with the Lee handles because I like the way they fit my hands...Lyman handles aren't shaped right for me.
