molds for 32 win spl

The only mold that I see offered in 323 is the rcbs 170. Does anyone else offer a 323 flat nose mold? Maybe BABore?
I just picked up a 1962 win 94 32 spl that was unfired. I put some win 170gr J words through it but would like to find a
mold for it.

Lee Double Cavity Mold produces a .324 diameter 175 grain round nose bullet suitable for cartridges like 8MM. Not flat nose

I've got the Accurate 2 cavity 32-160, one hole pb the other gc. They drop about 165 with my mix. Let me know if you would like to try some. I only have a few on hand but plan on casting tomorrow and can run some 32's.

I bought the RCBS for my 32WS. Not cast it yet. Look at NOE also

I have an old Lyman 321232 plain based mold which is a target bullet designed for the .32-40. Works well in my Marlin, but not for hunting level loads.

I bought a mold used which I believe is the NOE 323-180 RF. It's accurate in my rifle, and I shot a small doe with it the year I hunted with it. Honestly, looking at the exit hole, it was probably the best terminal performance I've gotten from a cast bullet on a deer yet. I use the Lee 324-175-1R with Ben's Red or NRA Lube, and also the Lyman/Ideal 321427 (same lube). Both do a nice job in my 1949 vintage Win 94 in 32 WS.

I use the lyman 165 gr. for the 8m/m . itworks well in .32-40 .32 w spl. and the 8m/m.

My opinion: Not all that many molds were produced for the 32 spec. I get by with a long ago discontinued lyman 321297 G/c mold. As far as what is available today. The only mold manufacture who usually has a decent selection of cast weights for the 32 spec. _Accurate Molds.

Keep in mind a Noe mold so to get a G/c cast only requires the purchase of a 4 cavity mold.

Try NOE 323 165 fn, it's a ranch dog style with wide meplat. Slug your throat, almost guarantee you'll want to size to .322 which will be just right for that NOE boolit, good luck!

Thanks all for the replies, I also have a 8mm mauser 98 that I am setting up for foul weather use.
It would be nice to have a mold that would feed both of them.

The Ranch Dog mold mentioned above shoots well in my '64 Winchester.The RCBS is also good.

My 1956 Win .32 Special loves the Accurate Mold 180 gr GC with #2 alloy.The RCBS 170 gr.PB mold cast bullets a wee bit to small with the Accurate mold casting a fatter bullet. I size .323 this bullet has never left a spec of lead in my barrel.I have pushed it to 2000 fps with Leverolution powder you could go faster I suppose I see no need.I have settled on 10 gr. Unique for 1400 fps and superb accuracy.The mold is for 32-40 barrels and since the .32 Win. Special is a necked up 30-30 with a 32-40 barrel the mold cast a perfect bullet that feeds and shoots wonderfully in the Winchester 94's. Both the .32 Winchester Special and .32 Remington are favorites. I have a few moulds for these, which include:
Accurate 32-185L
Accurate 32-155L
Ideal 321-427 -- #470 to punch
LYMAN 321232 .32 Win. Special FNGC 170 grain mould -- #295 top punch
LYMAN 321297 .32 Win. Special 170grain SC mould -- #295 top punch
LYMAN 321317 .32 RN single cavity 161 grs -- #470 top punch
LYMAN 321427 .32 Win. Special 140grain-- #470 top punch

if your shooting a mauser also then you should get the .325 NOE , the lube grooves are deep enough that sizing it down for the special wont cause any problems. 2 moulds in one :)

that s the mold I use works well n all my .32-8mm rifles.

I would recommend either the LEE 185gr .323 bullet mold or the older Lyman Ideal 165gr Louverin-design 323470 bullet molds for double duty in a 8x57 Mauser and .32 Win Spl rifles. Both are Round-nose profiles and both work well in each rifle. I use them both in my 8mm Mauser, 8mm-06 and 32Win chambered rifles.
