I can only find one set of dies for the 445 supermag, they are a 2 die set from redding on midway for 184 dollars!!! is there any other brands? also I was wondering, since lee's 44 spl dies can work for the 44 mag, does anyone know if the 44 magnum dies would work for the 445 S.M.? thank you kindly!-Travis

Thats what I use to load my 445sm, plain old 44mag dies

Used the 44 mag dies myself. I was shooting sillywett when I bought my first DW .445 SM from Elgin Gates. The serial number was ETG04X. I had to make cases by blowing out the 348 Winchesters and cutting them back to correct length, then reaming them. No factory had made cases for it yet. The 44 mag dies worked perfectly for me.

that's good to know, and you think the new henry single shot is plenty stout for it? I would think so, I would be topping out at 300 grainers, I just think that it would be nice to stretch the range of the 44 mag a bit.

I use Lee .44 RemMag carbide dies to load .445 SuperMag brass. No problems!

Back in the '90's when I had a Dan Wesson 7445 I had a set of the Redding dies that came with the pistol (bought it barely used) but I used Lee 44 dies to load 44 special, 44 mag and the 445 SM rounds for it.

Use caution on some of the load data out there for the 445SM. I had 2 different Contender barrels and both liked the surplus 680. Very similar to AA680. Not as fast as other powders but more accurate than most. The Lee 300gr RFN GC worked well at long range.
