And boy was it perfect timing, because I already got his Christmas Present! He was shocked this morning when he opened it. He went and look a look at my rifle and said he wants it exactly the same as mine. A nice brownish red with browned barrel and antique brass.

Looks happy! And he should be. My first muzzleloader was a CVA St. Louis Hawken, and I still have it. 50 cal., and over 70 gr. volume equivalent of Pyrodex RS it is a tackdriver and a joy to shoot.
