Measured, not book value, or Load program calculated.

15.0 grains of 2400

Curious folks want to know!

Can't help with the 15/2400 but I think I can get you in the ballpark. Out of my Rossi 92/20"bbl.
Lee158 rf/13.5/2400=1642fps, Lyman 358429/13.5/2400=1689fps

PS. After chronographing many .357/38sp loads a general rule is fast powders(BE,RD,231 etc) give +200-250fps over pistol bbl. Slow powders(2400,AA9,296 etc)generally 350-400fps over handgun speeds.

Thanks Artful.
fecmech, that is about what I was guessing (and hoping for).
358156 and those upper loads are the only combo I have had any success with.
At 50 yards they open a gallon milk jug of water with authority and I can hear the impact.

Unlike your results I have NOT been able to get any sort of precision out of the 358429s in the 92. I have been shooting the group buy version with slightly changed ratio of dimensions so maybe that is it. My Lyman 358429 mold casts boolits at 0.368" and I wish I had not cast 25# before I found out. They should make a good plinker/practice boolit for a 9.3, but I have no such critter They are so pretty I have not been able to bring myself to melt them down. This is cast from an alloy/casting session that produced on spec 358156s.

My Rossi 92 20” gets 1850 FPS with 15.0grs of 2400 and a Mihec 358156 sized to .360”. A friend tried my loads in his identical rifle and only got 1780 FPS tho, so it definitely varies.

Thanks one and all.
Looks like it is in the ballpark of what I wanted.
I now have a bunch of time to work on it over the winter/spring.
