Bought a Walnut Hill a while back, & bought some dies to go with from another "maker" (upcoming rant in another post). Pain in the **** to use & wasn't pleased. Happened to glance at Richard's site a month ago & lo & behold, another set of 44 dies. I grabbed them as used ones seem far & few between, & couldn't be happier with the results. They were very easy to set up, no issues at all, & the results speak for themselves. Suppose I should find me a cannelure tool somewhere now to really finish the job. Hope they shoot!

Nice, I like the way the brass jacket rolls into the hollow core.

Weight on these is 238-242 gr. Didn't separate by HS or weight of the brass. Kinda anxious if ya know what I mean. After the fiasco with those other dies, I don't blame me ;-)

Glad it worked out well for you. My experience with RCL did not. He cancelled my second order for a 44 swage set, after having lost the first order, that I had waited for over seven months for. He then refused to support the equipment that I had previously purchased from him. I committed the unpardonable sin, of admitting I had tried using a competitors dies, and wanted to upgrade to dies that would be more compatible with the Seagirt / Walnut Hill press.
Guess I'll keep on using my old second hand CH4D dies, that I used with an RCBS press.
WHAT A WASTE of time, money, and mental frustration. I haven't swaged since.
