It seems to not be a very abundant/popular mold eh?

I bought a single cavity at a gun show a few years back. I think I cast with it once. Its pretty light and wouldn't be great in a fixed sight .38 spl . Maybe sized down for a 9mm? A solution looking for a problem???

Well...to answer my own question...<<4.5 grains of IMR PB sure works accurately in my astra 100 frame with an astra A90 upper in 9mm. I sized them to .357 and at 12 and 25yards they shoot as good as anything I have shot in it. My ability with an auto pistol is the weakest link here, but i was keeping them all in a 1inch cluster at 12 yards and about a 2.5 inch loose group at 25.

My stainless smith model 60-15 in 357 will be next....I will try both 357 and 38 brass loads/

Hey, at least my wife likes the product of the mold....she says "awww them boolits look "cute". They kind of are cute looking little pills I guess.

357Max, I'm glad you had good luck with this little pill. I tried some maybe 30 years ago for a friend who wanted a low-recoiling load in her .38 Spcl. I worked and worked with every pistol powder I had to get a load that would make a decent group. Finally settled on about 3 grs HP38 as the best I could do, and that wasn't good, about 3-4" @ 25 yds (out of a Combat Masterpiece).

As I said, I'm glad you are having some success.

Update...

This boolit works fine in my nines, but it will never again be tried in my 38 or 357 revolvers, just ain't happening and I have plenty of other molds that are revolver friendly. I will keep this mold just for the nines when I want to run something "different" I guess. I just cannot get them to group in my 6guns...oh well must be a boolit too darn short thing..even though the 105 grain wadcutters will shoot out of the same guns ..oh well ...UNCLE
