I took my 50 Cal Pedersoli Frontier flintlock to the woods for her first deer hunt. I was sitting in front of a big oak tree for a few hours that were mixed with rain and snow when
three doe came out at about 50 yards from me, so I put my sights on the biggest one and squeezed the trigger.
She went about 40 yards and dropped. I've harvested many deer, but this one with the flintlock was really special.

I got this rifle at our muzzleloading club's Auction last winter for $75.00 It was a Percussion rifle, but I converted it to a flintlock with an L&R Lock.

Now its time to get one with one with my flintlock smoothbore trade gun. That should be Icing on the cake.

Congratulations on the flinchlock deer.
Flincklock shooting was above my abilities, so I stay with the cap guns.
75 bucks for the gun in the pic . . . Dang that worked out well for you.
AND
You still have the caplock parts you could sell and almost break even.

You can relive that hunt/shot with every meal where she supplies the meat portion.
