Anyone has available a tested, accurate hunting load for 454Casull?

Due to the condor preservation law in Southern California, the only bullit I can use is Barnes 250 gr HP copper bullets. I already ordered a box of 20 but as you may already know, they're expensive - so the less I need to test different loads, the better for my credit card.
I really like the Win 296 and Unique and I already have the Lyman and Hornady reloading manuals, but is anybody here able to tell me the most accurate 454Casull load you ever tried with a 250 grain bullet?

P.S. I hunt with a Puma 92 lever gun, not with a revolver.

I don't use a lot of the lighter bullets. In my Puma, Lil'Gun is the most accurate powder for use with 300 grain plus boolits. I'd suggest you start around 26 grains behind a 250 gr. copper bullet and work up.

Thanks.

I found one I want to share:
30 grain (maximum) of Win 296 will push the 250 grain Barnes copper bullet at 1832 fps with 1864 ft-lb energy at the muzzle of a 15in. barrel (my carbine has a 20in barrel so it should be just a little bit more).
At 100 yards the bullet still has 1147 ft-lb of energy, enough for the copper bullet to mushroom and take down a deer nice and clean.

Ok guys, just went back from the shooting range and here is the result:

What you see is a group of four shots at 100 yards. Condition: calm wind, temperature 89 degrees. Shot from the shooting rest with my Puma 92 20" stainless topped with a 2.5 X 30 NCStar pistol scope mounted forward (scout style). The smaller hole on top-left is from a .243 round shot by my friend from his Colt Sauer.

The muzzle velocity was 1927 fps, about 100 fps higher than the one listed on Ammo Guide for this load.
I used the Barnes 250 grain copper bullets, on a (very) compressed load of 30 grains of Win 296, Magtech cases, CCI400 primers.
No signs of overpressure, recoil was manageable, accuracy out of this world. I love this little beast.
