all that is left is 150 pounds of ingots from stick on wheel weights. Very soft Selling some of my lead reserves. I have 600 pounds of clip on wheel weights. Smelted down and fluxed twice. They are in bread pan ingots. They weigh 15 to 30 pounds. The average is 22 pounds each. The ingots are in two sizes. 9 x 4 3/4 x 2 and 8 x 4 x 2 . The actual thickness varies. Each brick is weighted and marked.

I do not want to ship these so the sale needs to be a FTF. I am just north of San Antonio, TX. $1.00 per pound. 6 lots of 100 pound each. Cash or postal M.O.
Post a reply and send me a PM.

Reinforce a medium flat rate box with extra cardboard would probably do it, I would guess.

I've gotten lead in the mail that was wrapped numerous times in strong tape. A roll of duct tape might be your solution.

Double box using a USPS MFRB, plus put the lead in a Tyvek bag. Then use reinforced tape on the outside. They may arrive looking more round than square, but as long as the lead stays together, who cares?

I have received lead in a mfrb that had the lead encased in cardboard in a USPS Tyvek bag and strapping tape then in an inside box again in a tyvek bag taped like crazy then in MFRB. Each layer had my name and address on it. Came through ok.

I put a turkey fryer on top of a stand I made from 3/4” gas pipe. For a lot I have the largest Dutch oven that Lodge makes. I keep the temperature under 725. But I can melt 100 pounds in about 20 min.

Thanks for a the ideas on shipping. Got the grandkids here this weekend. After that I will figure out a shipping method.

I think it pretty close. Especially during elk season.

I am 300lbs of the reason that Put doesn't still have a half ton of this stuff. I can attest that it is good clean metal, and he is a good guy to deal with.

Fiberglass Filament tape on the final layers would be better than just duct tape as it's far stronger. Might have to split 100# chunks into 2 50# ones (Not sure USPS deals with 100# packages well.) Might well get myself one too if you ship :)
