I want to apologize to MaryB, an unequivocal apology. There is no excuse for my rude and obnoxious behavior. Mary does more in a week than I do in a year. I have always read every one of her posts ever since she joined and I admire her work ethic, skill, and knowledge. She is someone to be admired for all she has done to help others and in making this forum a continuous success. Even if this were not the case, and clearly it is, there is no excuse for rude and obnoxious behavior. I hope my apology is accepted. I cannot unring the bell. But I can proceed in a manner that is constructive and positive, if only to demonstrate that I am sincere in my apology.

I sent you a PM and it contained a personal apology as I am sincere in my desire to make amends. I have apologized to you personally. As to the citizens of the State of California, I was born, raised and lived there for over 55 years. I do not want this to turn into a political thread as it is intended as an apology to MaryB and an opportunity to apologize personally to anyone else I have offended. Remember, please, this in Our Town.

We're all human here. We all make mistakes. To acknowledge them and make them right is the mark of a humble person. At the end of the day we're all family here and we all squabble and may say things we don't mean, especially if we've been here long enough. Let's be supportive and let bygones be bygones.
jmort I have missed you being here , I have thought of you often . I stumbled on this thread and was just glad your back brother . Thank you for being here .

Not sure what is going on but public groveling always makes me uneasy. This was best dealt with in a pm between you and MaryB. I've had a couple of back and forth's with her in pm and she is very reasonable.

Sorry to hear that you have unease over my "public groveling." I will just say that we will have to agree to disagree over this matter. If you disagree, I would respectfully request that you check out some other threads. You point was clearly made, and is noted and well taken.

the problem with that is what happens when the initial issue was very public to start with.

Thank you. Without your participation this would have been a failed thread. I appreciate that you took the time to respond to this thread.
At this point, I would suggest the thread be closed. But, if necessary, leave it open in case there is more work to do on my end.
I have received some very nice PMs that I really appreciate, but the point was to point out that rude and obnoxious posts are wrong and inappropriate, and to particularly and publically apologize to MaryB.
