I am making a new stock for a Stevens M110 single shot 12 gauge and need to know what the drop at the heel was originally. The lop is 13.5 inches but the drop is a guess.

If building from scratch, form it so it fits you, not what some factory though should fit every person.
Take a trip to your LGS and shoulder several guns and compare and measure the drop at the comb and the top of the pad.
That will give you a comparrisin of what you like and what fits you

yep I would fit to me if that was who it was for, and I was building from scratch. length of pull as well, these are both from the factory to fit a wide variety of shooters and only fit a few exactly.

Keep lowering it until you no longer shoot high. Any Savage/Stevens single barrel can be measured and copied for the "standard drop".

I would make it a bit high to start with and not lower it any more than I needed to for proper POI. Those old SS 12 ga guns had a lot of drop and were very good at rapping a fellow in the cheek when fired.
