I lost the plunger to my cylinder latch assembly early last week and received the replacement from CA today. While reassembling, I mistakenly closed the cylinder without all the proper pieces in place:oops:. Now the cylinder is locked in place and I cannot get it open to correctly install the latch assembly. Does anyone here know of a way I can open the cylinder and get things back in ship shape? I'd appreciate the help.

I spoke to the good folks at CA and here is the solution to the problem for anyone who makes the same mistake I did. Take a small screw driver and push the head of the ejector rod toward the muzzle end of the gun. VOILA! The cylinder opens. Simple, Simple!

I'm a big fan of CA's revolvers, having a .44 Bulldog and Mag Pug. I'd like to get the 6 shot Police Undercover model (38 sp), but don't really need to since my Dad bestowed upon me a Colt Detective Special when he passed.
